The Best Beach Clubs in the World: Ibiza Edition
Ibiza is world-renowned for its stunning beaches, legendary nightlife, and, of course, its next-level beach clubs. With so many incredible options, narrowing down the best beach clubs was a challenge, but we did it! Whether you’re in the mood for luxe vibes, boho chic, or laid-back fun, Ibiza has something for everyone. We absolutely loved Blue Marlin, Tropicana, Tanit, and Nassau. So grab your sunscreen, your most stylish cover-up, and get ready for some serious beachside bliss.
1. Blue Marlin Ibiza
Let’s start with the crème de la crème—Blue Marlin. This beach club is the epitome of luxury, nestled in a private cove with a striking dark blue and white decor. The vibe is pure class, with yachts anchored just offshore, and it feels like you’re living in a beachside movie set. We spent the day lounging in style, sipping on Bollinger and enjoying top-tier service. Let’s just say, the ice buckets were stocked with chilled rosé and Perrier all day long!
By the time the evening rolled around, the vibe shifted into full party mode with pumping house music and a DJ turning up the energy. If you’re in Ibiza to let loose, Blue Marlin’s DJ happy hour is where you want to be. But here’s the deal—you’ll need separate reservations for everything. That’s right: a lunch reservation, a sunbed reservation, and another for the DJ happy hour table if you plan to roll from day to night. It’s worth it though—trust us!
The small but mighty boutique here, curated by the fabulous Mimi, is full of stunning fashion. We may or may not have done some serious damage to our credit cards, but it was so worth it. The clothing is beautiful and unique—perfect for both beachside lounging and the Ibiza nightlife.
Must-Try: Take a dip in the clear blue sea. There’s a dock you can jump from, and don’t worry, there’s a ladder to help you climb back up. Plus, if you’re arriving by boat or yacht, Blue Marlin even offers a shuttle service!
Pro Tip: Book well in advance and bring your style A-game. This is where the elite come to play.
Bonus: Right next door is Yemanjá, another restaurant and bar that we adored. It’s more relaxed, but the vibe is still upscale. The boutique here is also well worth a visit, with curated looks from India and stunning jewelry pieces.
2. Tropicana Ibiza Beach Club
In the same cove as Blue Marlin, you’ll find Tropicana, a more casual, fun, and slightly crowded beach club. While it’s not as premium as Blue Marlin, Tropicana definitely holds its own. The atmosphere is relaxed, and you can wear whatever you want—no need for high fashion here (but hey, if you want to go glam, go for it!).
We loved the giant paella they make right on the beach. Seriously, there’s nothing better than eating fresh seafood while watching the waves roll in. If you’re feeling extra, they also offer spiritual sessions in a beach tent. We each had a 90-minute session complete with a massage, and it was pure bliss.
However, the beach chairs here are a bit less comfortable—no cushions to be found. Also, to access the sea, you have to cross a small bridge, and the surf can be a little intense at different times of the day. That said, the cove is absolutely stunning, and the laid-back vibe is perfect if you’re looking to chill without all the extra luxury.
Must-Try: The fresh seafood paella is out of this world.
Pro Tip: Tropicana is more budget-friendly than some of the other clubs, but still chic enough to feel like you’re living it up.
3. Tanit Beach Ibiza
On the other side of town, you’ll find Tanit Beach, a super-premium beach club with a boho vibe. Tanit is all about luxury meets earthy chic. The beach beds here are large and super comfortable, and the ocean is pure sand—no rocks, just smooth entry into the sparkling blue sea. It’s a dream for those who prefer their beach days without sharp rocks underfoot.
The boutique here is a boho lover’s paradise, filled with handmade items and unique clothing. In fact, this is where we scored some dresses for our trunk show! Just be aware: Ibiza’s beach vendors are relentless. They’ll approach you non-stop trying to sell everything from stunning fashion to contraband fake designer bags. Some of the pieces are truly incredible, but others are best avoided.
There’s no pool at Tanit, but the beachside experience makes up for it. The restaurant here is fantastic, with a menu featuring fresh sushi and creative cocktails. And if you’re there on a scorching day, no worries—there’s plenty of umbrella coverage to keep you cool.
Must-Try: A fresh sushi platter and a refreshing cocktail.
Pro Tip: Watch out for the beach vendors—some have amazing finds, but others are pushing fakes. Be discerning!
4. Nassau Beach Club Ibiza
Right next door to Tanit is Nassau Beach Club, a party paradise that blends luxury with full-on Ibiza energy. The vibe here is wild, with a DJ spinning tunes, dancers, and even live violinists and musicians performing beachside. It’s a total show, and if you’re in the mood to sip rosé while soaking in all the action, Nassau is your spot.
The beachside tables are stocked with magnum bottles of Provence rosé, and the party atmosphere doesn’t let up. If you want to experience Ibiza’s famous nightlife but still enjoy a chic beach day, Nassau is where you want to be.
The boutiques here are equally fabulous, featuring clothing perfect for the all-night-long DJ scene that Ibiza is known for. Think sparkly, fun, and totally on-trend for a night out. And the best part? You’re super close to all the main hotels and nightclubs in Ibiza, so you can easily transition from beach day to nightlife without missing a beat.
Must-Try: A bottle of rosé, and enjoy the DJ and live entertainment.
Pro Tip: Nassau is the spot to see and be seen—dress to impress!
Conclusion
Ibiza’s beach clubs are more than just a place to tan—they’re a full-on experience. From the luxe vibes of Blue Marlin to the boho chic of Tanit, each club offers something unique. Whether you’re looking for a chill day by the water, an unforgettable party, or some seriously great shopping, these beach clubs have it all. So, book your spot, pack your best beachwear, and get ready for a day (or night!) you’ll never forget.
