We are travelers, not tourists. You won’t find us on the hop-on hop-off bus or standing in line for the usual attractions. Our passion is to merge with a culture, to meet the people, and to find the artistry that the rest of the world often misses.
It was on one of these journeys in Marrakesh that everything changed.
Our story began when a trusted friend in Morocco introduced us to a master tailor. We walked into his shop and were immediately floored, not just by his skill, but by his creativity. The color combinations were fearless. The mastery was undeniable. It was love at first sight.
We asked him to collaborate, and together we embarked on a treasure hunt. Our tailor traveled from the city up into the Sahara Desert, sourcing textiles directly from Berber families. He returned to the workshop with piles of heavy and light kilims, family rugs, and ancient weavings.
We sat on the floor of that workshop, surrounded by mountains of raw history, and hand-selected every piece. It was a chaotic, beautiful collaboration. We asked, “Can we turn this rug into a Moto jacket? Can we make this textile into a Trench?”
Today, that collaboration has evolved into what we call the "Crazy Clash." We work with artists who merge vintage denim with 1960s Moroccan upholstery - think grandmother’s velvet brocade chair remixed into a show-stopping bomber. We take these soulful, maximalist materials and refine them with functional details like deep pockets and quality linings.
It is a big mix-and-match mashup of textures, time periods, and talent.
But these coats are more than just wearable art; they are a vehicle for impact.
We view ourselves as conduits. There are incredible artisans in places like Marrakesh who have the talent but lack the access to a global market. Big business doesn't reach all the way down into these communities—but we can.
We believe that micro-commerce is the backbone of these economies. When you buy one of our coats, the impact is tangible. It helps put food on tables, sends girls to school, and provides healthcare for families. It allows incredible makers to thrive through their artistry.
